Tiger Woods seriously injured in Florida car accident

Tiger Woods was seriously injured in an early morning car accident on Nov. 27, according to the Florida Highway Patrol and as reported by the Orlando Sentinel. According to the report, Woods, 33, pulled out of his driveway in the Isleworth community about 2:25 a.m. in his 2009 Cadillac SUV when he struck a fire hydrant, and then drove into a tree at his neighbor’s property, FHP reported.
Woods was transported to Health Central Hospital in Ocoee, Fla., in serious condition, FHP said. No other information about his condition has been released.
Woods had six PGA Tour wins this season and led the money list with $10,508,163. He competed in the 17 PGA Tour events and had 13 top 10 finishes in his 17 official events.
Woods, who will turn age 34 next month, lives in Florida with his wife and two young children. He has 71 career PGA Tour victories, 95 total career pro titles and 21 amateur wins.
